Özet

A novel Heat Pump-Photovoltaic/Thermal (HP-PV/T) integrated system designed to meet space heating and cooling, electricity generation, domestic hot water production efficiently is a proposed experimental research study. The heat pump running with two evaporators and two condensers operating as air-water and air-air in the HP-PV/T integrated system has been specifically manufactured. This multi-purpose system can be operated day and night in different seasons and modes (heating and cooling mode) throughout the year. In this study, the thermodynamic and experimental analyses of the HP-PV/T integrated system were carried out. Also, efficiency definitions have been meticulously made for different modes of the operating system, and the performance of this system has been investigated according to relying on these definitions. As a result of the hourly analyses, it is observed that the respective COP obtained by using the heat pump integrated with the PV/T collectors is up to 25.2% more compared to the heating COP of the heat pump. In consequence of the experiments carried out in the cooling and heating mode of the HP-PV/T integrated system, it was comprehended that the cooling and heating mode utilization rates of the system are respectively bounded between 1.94 to 2.43 and 1.15 to 1.25.
