[Soda ash production of trona mineral] [Trona mineralinden soda külü üretimi]

Abstract

Trona is a soda mineral that used as a raw material for producing of soda ash. Producing of soda ash is made natural and synthetic methods. In both methods, produced two types of soda ash by densities light and heavy. Light soda, in producing detergent and various chemicals, heavy soda is widely used in the glass industry.The liquid remnants of synthetic soda ash production contain chloride and solids contain harmful substances therefore cause pollution. The importance of natural soda ash production comes into prominence when investigate in the way of environment and costs of synthetic soda ash production. In this study; The raw material properties of trona sample is determined was taken from Ankara-Beypazari{dotless} and natural soda ash production from trona mineral is performed in laboratory.
